This article is aimed at encouraging and participating in the first digital trade show dedicated to diverse and minority-owned apparel and accessories brands.

Announcing The Folklore Connect’s Fall/Winter 2023 Digital Market Week

Following on from the success of the first virtual buyer preview, which was held ahead of last October’s Lagos Fashion Week, The Folklore Connect is pleased to announce its Digital Market Week for the upcoming fall/winter 2023 season.

Taking place from February 1-3,  Digital Market Week is the first online trade show dedicated to diverse and minority-owned designer brands from emerging markets.

The digital event provides brands with the exclusive opportunity to present their latest collections for prospective retailers to preview and pre-order, while buyers around the world have the chance to discover new wholesale ready-to-wear apparel and accessories assortments at the best prices.

AW23 Digital Market Week

During the three-day activation, designer brands will debut their fall/winter 2023 collections in their Connect showrooms, and present them in real-time to potential buyers from Connect’s retail partners, which include Shopbop, Revolve, Hudson’s Bay and many more.

Using our new scheduling application, retailers will be able to request video-chat appointments at specific times to meet with designers over the three days, where they will be able to gather information, request samples or place wholesale pre-orders.

Participation in the AW23 Digital Market Week is completely free – retailers can find out more and register to attend here.
