Wave Ring

ARTIST STATEMENT:

Waves carry treasure to shore, revealing the hidden beauty of the ocean, or the deep unknown. To me, these treasures are messages -- ancient answers that guide me when I am wading through the unknown. Part of the "Diamond in the Rough" collection that explores the hidden beauty of natural elements, the Wave ring is my interpretation of waves crashing onto shore, depositing gems of wisdom in its wake. Black spinel stones line the top and bottom of this wave-patterned band made of sterling silver, creating an illusion that urges the eye to look beyond the surface.
