Still water runs deep. The Water Draped Kimono draws from the quiet power of natural dye. A floor-length open cape in cream cotton is hand-dipped in deep indigo : the colour bleeding upward from the hem in the uneven, organic way that only hand-dyeing can produce. A printed Kitenge trim runs the full length of the front opening. Below, wide-leg trousers carry the same indigo fade, rising from both hem and thigh to meet in the middle : a different dye pattern on the same palette, creating a look that feels curated without being matched. Water finds its own level. This piece follows the same principle. Handcrafted by Grace Swalah, one of our tailors from Kibera, Nairobi. 100% exclusive cotton, hand-dyed in Kenya. ONE OF A KIND Each piece in the UHAI Collection is entirely unique. Subtle variations in hue and texture are not irregularities : they are the signature of authenticity.
