This exquisitely crafted Qiaochu Peacock Dress, features a midi-skirt embroidered with traditional Chinese motifs such as peacocks and flowers, a beautiful bodice with subtle floral patterns, an elegant ruffle sleeve and a timeless v-neckline.
The dress’s name, QiaoChu (“翘”“楚”), originated from Ancient Chinese poetry in the Zhou Dynasty (1055-771BC). ‘Qiao’ denotes uplifting, uprising and worshipful meanings, while ‘Chu’ refers to beautiful clarity. These words perfectly represent the peacock's gesture when opening their tails. In modern society, Qiaochu often points to people who are equipped with extraordinary skills/talents and demonstrate leadership, much like the traits of the SKYLENCE woman.
