The Respect Red is a flowing Kente maxi dress handcrafted in our atelier in Lomé, Togo — made from authentic red Kente cloth woven specially for this collection in Ghana. In Kente tradition, red is the color of sacrifice, of passion, of lives lived with purpose. This dress carries that weight — and wears it beautifully.
The silhouette flows freely around the body, breathable and regal in equal measure. The open back is finished with ethically sourced cowrie shells cascading from the neckline to the spine — symbols of femininity, prosperity, and ancestral protection. Against the red Kente, the cowries don't just catch the light. They command it.
