High tea, reimagined.
Sit back, sip slow, and savor every detail of this oversized, handmade porcelain mug—a true collectible for those who appreciate character and craft. Designed by the founder of LitBodies, it reimagines the classic cameo through a modern lens, blending timeless portraiture with brutalist-inspired architecture.
Each mug is brought to life by six skilled artisans in Czechia, working in a small, heritage porcelain house that has operated for over 30 plus years. Because of its intimate scale and artisanal focus, every piece is part of a limited, small-batch production—no two exactly alike.
The mug features the profile of a young Black beauty, her hair ornately styled in a cameo-like silhouette. Designed to feel like an ancient sculpture pulled from the past, each piece carries naturally occurring imperfections—subtle streaks, water droplets, and weathered textures—thanks to the use of tinted porcelain. Since grey clay doesn’t naturally occur, the artisans tint the material before firing. During this process, chemical reactions bring out ghost-like brown hues, irregular lines, and unique surface variations that can’t be reproduced.
These "flaws" are part of the story. They’re what make each mug singular.
If you're drawn to objects with soul, history, and a handmade edge—this one’s for you.
