This treasure was handcrafted by artisans from the southwest of Colombia, in Sibundoy, Putumayo, part of the Kamentza Indigenous community. Their ancestral territory, known as Bënge Wäman, translates to “Our Sacred Place of Origins.”
The figures featured in the design are sacred symbols of their culture, representing the moon, the earth, animals, and water — elements that reflect the Kamentza people's deep connection to nature and spiritual heritage.
