Our Najash pieces carry a special meaning — a fusion of diverse artisan techniques from Colombian Indigenous communities.
The base of this bag was handcrafted by an Indigenous artisan from La Guajira, in the northeast of Colombia, using ancient weaving techniques passed down through generations over thousands of years.
The strap was made by artisans from the Kamentza Indigenous community in Sibundoy, Putumayo, in the southwest of Colombia. Their ancestral territory, Bënge Wäman, translates to “Our Sacred Place of Origins.”
The tassels were crafted by artisans from the Embera Chamí community in the west-central region of Colombia, inspired by their spiritual connection to their god, Karavi.
